  I think this practice is the worst! in my opinion, they provide a totally average care and then charge you in a very unethical way! Many patients reported this. It is becoming a real issue and the staff is making everything extremely difficult (taking many weeks to properly submit the charges to our insurance and pressuring us to pay the full amount in the meantime). I am talking $2033 for standard check up and cleaning visit for our 3 children and some sealings for 2 of them! Of course, our insurance doesn't accept this practice in their network and they didn't mention it to us. Cherry on the cake, they treat you as if you were the one doing something wrong, when you dare to ask about the cost or ask them to discuss the matter with your insurance! On the bright side, there are more amazing and honest dentists and pediatric dentists in Palo Alto than the city really needs.
